Daily Tennis Fixtures Pull to Internal Storage

Fetch the daily tennis fixture slate with Kestra's HTTP task, normalize it with JSONata, and persist it to internal storage for downstream tasks.

This blueprint calls the Live Tennis API (livetennisapi.com). It is used because it is a clean, self-contained example of a once-daily API ingestion into internal storage.

Prerequisites

What you get

  • A clean daily fixture file in internal storage, ready for downstream loads.
  • A single-call ingestion pattern that respects a free-tier quota.
  • Retries and a failure log branch so a transient blip does not lose the run.
  • Flow outputs (fixtures_file, fixture_count) for chaining into other flows.

Secrets

  • LIVETENNISAPI_KEY: your Live Tennis API key, sent as the X-API-Key header. Add it as a namespace secret; do not paste the value into the flow.
