Branch tasks based on a rendered condition.

Renders condition and coerces it to boolean (the strings false, 0, -0, an empty string and null are false; every other value is true). Executes then when true, else when false, with optional errors/finally blocks.

Frequently used after previous task results to drive control flow.

Properties

The If condition which can be any expression that evaluates to a boolean value.

Boolean coercion evaluates the strings 'false', '0', '-0', an empty string and null to false; all other values evaluate to true.

Assets this task consumes as inputs or produces as outputs, for lineage tracking and the asset graph (Enterprise Edition). A flow declaring this property on a task is rejected in the open-source edition.
