InfluxDB Load

InfluxDB Load

Certified

Load ION records into InfluxDB

Reads an ION file from internal storage and writes each object as a point to InfluxDB with nanosecond precision. Uses the provided measurement, batches writes in chunks of 1000 by default, and skips a time field unless timeField is set so InfluxDB assigns the server timestamp.

yaml
type: io.kestra.plugin.influxdb.Load

Load data points to InfluxDB from an ION file.

yaml
id: influxdb_load
namespace: company.team

inputs:
  - id: file
    type: FILE

tasks:
  - id: load
    type: io.kestra.plugin.influxdb.Load
    connection:
      url: "{{ secret('INFLUXDB_URL') }}"
      token: "{{ secret('INFLUXDB_TOKEN') }}"
    org: "{{ secret('INFLUXDB_ORG') }}"
    bucket: "{{ secret('INFLUXDB_BUCKET') }}"
    from: "{{ inputs.file }}"
    measurement: "sensor_data"
Properties

InfluxDB connection

Connection settings (URL, token, optional options) reused across tasks

Definitions
token*string

InfluxDB token

The authentication token for InfluxDB

url*string

InfluxDB server URL

The URL of the InfluxDB server

connectTimeoutstring
DefaultPT10S

Connection timeout.

Connection establishment timeout (ISO-8601 duration, e.g. PT10S). Default is 10 seconds.

readTimeoutstring
DefaultPT10S

Read timeout.

Maximum time to wait for response bytes (including initial response) (ISO-8601 duration, e.g. PT10S). Default is 10 seconds.

Source file URI

URI in internal storage (e.g., kestra://...) containing the data to load

Measurement for all points

Measurement applied to every point from the ION file

Organization name

Organization scope for queries and writes

Assets this task consumes as inputs or produces as outputs, for lineage tracking and the asset graph (Enterprise Edition). A flow declaring this property on a task is rejected in the open-source edition.

Definitions
assetFailureBehaviorstring
Possible Values
IGNOREFAILWARN

Asset failure behavior

Behavior applied to the task state when a declared asset fails to render, emit, or be persisted (e.g. a lock conflict): FAIL escalates it to FAILED, WARN (default) warns it if it would otherwise succeed, IGNORE leaves the state untouched.

enableAutobooleanstring

Whether to auto-register assets referenced dynamically at runtime that are not statically declared in inputs or outputs.

inputsarray

The assets consumed as inputs.

Bucket name

Target bucket for write/query operations when required; ignored by Flux queries

Default1000

Chunk size per write

Number of points per batch when writing to InfluxDB; defaults to 1000

SubTypestring

Fields treated as tags

Fields listed here are stored as tags; remaining keys become fields

Timestamp field name

Field whose value becomes the point timestamp with nanosecond precision; when unset a time key is skipped and InfluxDB assigns the server time

Number of records written to InfluxDB
